2020, our second vintage from the nineteen ninety five Cottage Block, was a consecutive dry season - on top of which unkind spring winds took much of the pre-fruit flowering, so like most producers we had just half the yield.
Concentrated juice, picked later than the previous harvest, has produced elevated & rich flavours, think dark cherries and spice. Only wish there was more so savour every drop.
Open to breathe and enjoy with lamb cutlets as we did. Amazing! We think you’ll like it.
